This is for the public course side.
Not a bad course. Lots of elevation changes, some blind fairways and such. Greens are horribly slow, or fast. No one fixes their ball marks on the greens nor fill in divots. Tee boxes aren’t all that great but doable. Cart paths are pretty rough in most parts. Lots of bare ground throughout the course. I enjoyed it even though I wasn’t playing my best and this was my first time there. Golf carts were fairly clean and have the geofencing which keeps folks from certain areas.
I played here today and it was OK. Typical low-cost winter golf, and with that comes uneven greens, rough golf cart paths (teeth shattering in some instances) and mixed results in the fairway conditions. You also have to cross a four-lane freeway to get to the clubhouse from the 18th hole. The front nine is relatively easy and wide open, while the back nine is significantly tighter and more challenging. There are definitely some pretty holes here! I even caught some deer on hole number 11.
This is a great course to play in the Raleigh area with a lot of variety and options. They have a lot of open tee times normally and the staff seem genuine. It has a nice medium sized practice putting green. For the price it is a great value. I would recommend this course.
Surprising great food, cold drinks, and non over priced products in the club house. Course was great, had lots of fun. Price for 18 holes was very fair. Respectful staff.
Went here on a Friday morning. It was a really well kept golf course that is friendly for those that may often lose balls.
They had a decent pro shop along with a good restaurant. Good prices and friendly faces.
I’d go here again for sure. Great times!
Sorry to say that we went out to RGA and ended up getting our money back and leaving after hole#2 because the course was in really bad shape. Greens were eat up with crabgrass and ball marks. This course use to be really good so I hope they get it back to being that way soon.
Nice short course. Fairways were in good condition. Not much trouble or rough. Greens and tee boxes need some work.
Reasonable price for a round of golf on a decent course. Turf on fairways and tee boxes is in good condition. Greens are in horrible condition; very slow and infested with crabgrass. Many holes on the back nine are in need of major repairs.
